I always had a dream: to work in TV industry in US. For many reasons I had to repeatedly give up during the past 20 years. I'm 42, too late to start now? I want to believe it's not. I'd love to become a writer, a screenwriter, but I'd need time to write and study. Time is what I actually miss because my life is totally absorbed by my job. But if I quit it I couldn't live, because I have a 30 years loan plus a 6 years loan I did when I bought my home 3 years ago and various bills, as usual, to pay. And because of the two loans I can't ask more money from the banks. Ergo, I'm trapped in this reality.
Why do I believe I have the right skills for this job? Because many times since when I was young I've seen on my favorite TV shows scenes I had already imagined or thought they would happen.
My dream and wish is for someone to be able to economically sustain and teach me for one year during which I could completely dedicate my time to the job of my dreams.
One year is the time my actual boss can keep my work in standby.
I don't cost so much, just some more than 1000 euros each month. (I can show my actual payrolls to whom that would offer to help me).
If my dreams come true I would be happy to give back the money to my helper.
Beyond creating stories I'm fascinated by screener's pilots job and casting. I have a strong intuition that has always helped me in my life and my job. Most of the times, I'm right deciding the fate of a series after watching the pilot. A few examples? House MD, Castle, Fringe. I missed Bones pilot so I started loving it only two years ago. Great show! Who wants can test me (even for free! in this case) sending me things to examine.
I'm a serious simple person with a simple life, very easy to learn information about me.
One note: my last name, Hady, an art name, is a homage to Huddy (House and Cuddy from House MD) because the spelling in Italian is written that way.
A huge homage because these amazing characters, created by David Shore for House MD, are the reason why I started again thinking as a crew member of a show instead of being just a viewer. But I wouldn't probably be here now writing this if it wasn’t for some Greg Yaitanes’ words that made me understand what I missed not following my dreams which started for both of us when we were kids watching Star Wars. You know who he is, yet you have no idea who am I !! ;-)
So, my dreaming sustainers and teachers’ team is made of: Greg Yaitanes, David Shore, Hart Hanson, Andrew W. Marlowe. Do you want me guys? Please say yes! ;-)
I will post some things I'm creating in my blog site http://cristinahady.blogspot.it/ It will be a new House, a story Spellman based and a new story I'm developing "casting" the main actors of The Finder.
